Mardell E. Peters, 76, of Bourbonnais, died Tuesday (Oct. 20, 1998) at Riverside Medical Center.

Burial will be in Ashkum Township Cemetery.

She was born April 5, 1922 in Clifton, the daughter of Alfred and Gladys Williams Anderson.

Her husband, Clarence Peters, whom she married March 15, 1944 in Logansport, Ind., died in March of 1965.

She was a graduate of Herscher High School.

She had also attended Social Brethren Church in Bourbonnais.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Morton Goddard of Kankakee; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Arthur and Darlene Peters of Lexington, S.C., Edward C. Peters of St. Anne and Michael A. Peters of Kankakee; one sister, Esther Ortman of Bradley; one brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Mardella Anderson of Dellwood, Mo.; three grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; two step-grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Harold and one sister, Marie.
