Wesley "Buddy" Potts, 78, of Fouke, Ark., died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in a Dallas hospital.

Mr. Potts was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Fouke. He was employed with North American Railcar and Red River Army Depot and a member of Fairland Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Allen Potts.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Fitzgerald Potts of Fouke; one son, Mike Potts of Waldo, Ark.; four daughters, Cindy Allen of Waxahachie, Texas, and Sherrie Hewitt, Cheryl Harrison and Shawn Martin of Fouke; one sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and Buddy Hudgeons of Texarkana; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Fairland Holiness Church with the Revs. Lloyd Shuecraft and Doyle House officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
