Cara Ann Young passed away peacefully at her residence, 814 Coligny Drive, St. Marys, Ohio on March 13, 2014 after a battle with cardiac amyloidosis. She was born on February 18, 1967, in Sidney, Ohio to Vernon J. and Madonna C. (Post) Huber, both survive in Maria Stein, Ohio. She married William A. Young on April 22, 1995, and he survives at the residence.

Survivors include two sons, Josh Young and Sam Young, a daughter Abbie Young, all of St. Marys; three brothers, Rob (Margaret) Huber, Athens, TN, Tom (Chris) Huber, Versailles and Dick (Elaine) Huber, Minster; three sisters, Mary Jo (Dan) Hess, St. Rose, Jackie (Steve) Henry, St. Henry and Amy (Don) Kemper, Chickasaw. Three brothers in law; David (Melissa) Young, Concord, North Carolina; Dean (Angela) Young, Chicago, Illinois; Paul (Cynthia) Young, Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters in law, Mary Beth (Steve) Mielke, St. Marys and Amy (Andrew) Menker, St. Marys; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a 1985 graduate of Marion Local High School and attended Fort Wayne Business College and later she earned her real estate license. Professionally she worked with Kuck Realty and most recently Cisco Realty in St. Marys. Cara was a dedicated member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys with a strong faith in Christ. She was an active member having served on PTO, Education Commission and Parish Festival Committee.

Cara was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed and cherished every moment she spent with her family. Cara never knew a stranger. She was a friend to everyone she met, fun loving, generous, vibrant and full of life.

As our hearts ache for the physical loss of her, we find solace knowing that she is now with God. She is at peace. And for that, we are grateful.

Visitation hours will be from 2-7 on Sunday, March 16, 2014. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm in the Cisco Funeral Home of St. Marys, located at 1175 E. Greenville Rd. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 am on Monday in the Holy Rosary Church, St. Marys with Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiating and Fr. Ned Brown co-officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
