Daughter of Terence Keeffe/O'Keefe and (Nancy Anne) Annie MEADE/MEAD, both born in Ireland, who married Jan 25, 1826, Kildorrery, Cork, Ireland.

Margaret was baptized June 19, 1844, Kildorrery, Cork, Ireland.

Margaret immigrated in 1851, arriving in New York on January 3 from London, aboard the ship American Congress with her parents "Terry and Nancy" and siblings, "Norry, Arthur, Catherine, Mary, and Nancy."

Her maiden name also found Keefe and O'Keeffe.

Margaret Keefe/O'Keefe married Patrick Murphy, June 16, 1863, Wheeling, Ohio County, Virginia/WV. Her mother Ann Keefe gave permission.
(President Lincoln proclaimed that West Virginia would officially be recognized as a state on June 20, 1863.)
They had a son William Thomas Murphy, May 7, 1864, Wheeling.
Patrick died May 6, 1865, St. Louis, Missouri aboard a steamship.

Daughter Mary 'Mollie' N Boyce married John Dean Jr, June 4, 1888, Wheeling with consent of her father James Boyce. Mary/Mollie and John had 6 children, 5 living by the 1900 census, Marshall County WV.
John Alexander Dean remarried to Maggie Seamon in 1912 Marshall County WV. His memorial 85067910.

Their daughter Margaret M Boyce married Bernard F. Grewe born Hamilton, Ohio, age 33, February 8, 1908, Wheeling. The license was obtained in Marshall County, WV.
Mrs Grew was informant on her death certificate.

Robert E. Boyce married Ella B Seaman, and he died in 1941, Cuyahoga, Ohio.

NOTE: Margaret claimed widow's pension, however it was rejected.
