OBITUARY-
ADAMS -- A funeral Mass will be held for Curt M. Heimer, 18, of Adams at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He died Monday (Sept. 28, 1998) of injuries suffered in an auto accident on Mower County Road 7 south of Elkton.
Born March 12, 1980, in Osage, Iowa, he was a 1998 graduate of Southland High School in Adams, a student at Winona State University and an employee of Cedar River Country Club in Adams. An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, he especially enjoyed roller blading, golfing, hunting and water skiing.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Evon (Koenigs) Heimer of Adams; two brothers, Keith Allen of Minneapolis and Corey Richard of St. Paul; his grandmothers, Mrs. Eileen Koenigs and Mrs. Joann Heimer, both of Adams, and maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Regina Koenigs of Stacyville, Iowa.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and at the Adams Funeral Home from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
