Kimberly L. Cummings of Newark, DE passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the age of 37.
Kim was born in Wilmington, the daughter of Barbara A. and Roger M. Boone, Jr.
She was a lifelong Delawarean and graduated with the 1994 class of Christiana High School. Kim was an employee of the Delaware Psychiatric Hospital for 16 years. Kim was a loving wife, mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, books, movies, playing games on her phone with friends, going to the beach and family sporting events, while constantly following all of her favorite sports teams.
Kim was preceded in death by her daughter, Taylor Morgan Cummings "Tink" and her grandmother, Patricia A Boone. Kim will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 18 years, Robert G. Cummings; her son, Cody A. Cummings. She is also survived by grand parents, Roger M. Boone Sr., Robert E. and Barbara A. Pruitt; her sister, Tamitha A. Palese and husband, Christopher J.; her brother, Jason A. Boone, Sr. and wife, Christine A.; nephews, Bryan, Jaymes, Jason "JJ" and nieces, Emma, Brianna, Desiree, Kyleigh, Isabelle and Savannah.
Funeral Services will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 18th at 12:00 noon at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy., Newark, DE, where family and friends may visit from 10 to 12:00 noon.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
