Emma Augusta Blain was born 12 Aug 1862 in Plymouth, Indiana to parents, Jeremiah (Jerry) Blain and Olive Drucilla Work. She married Charles Leroy Alleman of Plymouth on 27 Sept 1883. They moved to Minnesota where their 3 children were born: Harold Leroy, Schuyler B., and Lois Marjorie. They divorced 20 Jun 1894 and she went back to her home in Indiana where she lived with her father Jerry and step mother Julia Katherine Klein and half brother, Oliver. She later married James Grant Barrett about 1900 and moved to Arkansas. They moved to Deming, New Mexico, where she died on 21 Apr 1917.
