Marie Kearfott a resident of Calera, Oklahoma and precious relative and friend to many passed from this life into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 90 years 4 months and 15 days. She was born in Olustee, Oklahoma on Monday, October 29, 1923 to Jerry and Anna Bell (Simons) McWilliams. Marie met and married Jospeh Baker Kearfott in Amarillo, Texas in 1947 while working for Phillips Petroleum in Boger, Texas.
Marie graduated from the Utica School in Utica, Oklahoma. Marie retired after working for many years as the office manager for the Durant Office Supply. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Calera. Marie enjoyed many things over her lifetime, gardening, canning her harvest, crafts and quilting just to name a few. But the most important thing to Marie was her relationships with family and friends, she cherished the time they spent together at all times especially reunions, and she never wanted the gatherings to end.
Mrs. Kearfott is survived by her children, Jo Elaine Harville and husband Ron of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Bill Kearfott of Calera, Oklahoma, Sammie Scharf of Ren Frew, Pennsylvania and Ann Sander and husband Tim of Mounds, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Joseph Scharf and wife Tina of Ren Frew, Pennsylvania, Tina Detwiler and husband Joe of Evans City, Pennsylvnia, Ronnie Harville and wife Gloria of Castlerock, Colorado, Taleese Bohn and husband Mike of Westland, Michigan, Alexis Dahlman and husband Tom of Austin, Texas, Vernon Sander of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and step-grandchild, Wendy Sander of Bixby, Oklahoma; brother, Charles McWilliams of Oleatha, Colorado and Gene McWilliams of Boger, Texas; great-grandchildren, Ian Harville, Owen Harville, Christianna Wahl, Gerrit Harville, Josh Bohn, Kenzie Bohn, Gabriela Bohn,Kyle Bohn, Douglas Detwiler, Cody Detwiler, Alex Gilbert, Bella Dahlman, Booker Dahman, Jaxton Sander, JJ Scharf and Joseph John.
Mrs. Kearfott was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Anna Bell McWilliams; husband, Joseph Baker Kearfott; sisters, Livina (Bea) Blankenship and Betty Lou McWilliams; brothers, Lee, Francis, William, Hubert, Elmo, Audry and Jerry (Junior) McWilliams; grandchild, Amy Sander Gilbert; great-grandchild, Jacob Sander; nephew, Coy Lee McWilliams.

Family Hour will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6-8:00 PM at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 17, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Calera, Oklahoma with Bro. Jacob Toews and Tom Dalman officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Francis McWilliams, Ronnie Hartfield, Dennis McWilliams, Tommy McWilliams, Joseph Scharf and Vernon Sander.
