Genevieve “Jenny” Nunn lost her battle with cancer on March 10, 2014, at the age of 73 in Double Adobe, Ariz. Jenny was born in Lordsburg, N.M. on Dec. 27, 1940, to Dan and Mattie Mae Caillouette.
Jenny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, softball and tennis, as well as coaching little league. Jenny took pride in various activities. Jenny was well known for living life to the fullest and being a great friend, forever giving of herself to all. Genevieve was a longtime resident of Willcox and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jenny is survived by her children: Janet Sue Lemon and (Loren Ray Cooper, son-in-law) and Ronald Glenn Nunn and (Carmen Rosa Ortecho, daughter-in-law); former son-in-law Clayton Wayne Lemon; and her grandchildren: Lloyd Dean Lemon, Wayne Glenn Lemon, Natalie Theresa Nunn and Elizabeth Sara Nunn; Siblings: Barbara Ann Wessel, Mary Lou Cline, Amel Ray Oliver Caillouette and Katherine Bea Manning; and several wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Elgin Nunn; parents: Dan and Mattie Mae Caillouette; and siblings: Dan Caillouette, Mattie Bell Sterns and Bessie Mae Casey.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Willcox, Ariz. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery. You may express condolences at www.westlawnchapelmortuary.com.
