Born in Austria, the son of Frank and Katherine Waggoner Trstensky, he retired in 1961 after being a guard at Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Co. for 18 years.
Mr. Trstensky was a past commander of LaFore-Lock VFW Post 755 and a veteran of WWI. He was a member of WWI Veterans Barracks 185.
He is survived by his wife Helen; three sons, Frank of Santa Monica, Calif., John and Thomas, both of Springfield; five daughters, Mrs. Pauline McKinney, Sister Jo Mary OSF, both of St. Louis; Mrs. Dorothy Seiz, Mrs. Frances Kincaid, Mrs. Helen Jackson, all of Springfield; 11 grandchildren.
Services at St. Aloysius Church. Burial in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
