Samuel Quincy, President of the Hope Insurance office and for many years one of the Boston Pilot Commissioners, died at his residence in Boston, Sunday morning, at 8 o'clock. The Traveller says, he followed the sea from boyhood until about 12 years ago, and was esteemed as one of the most enterprising and successful shipmates belonging to that port."
