Hazel Elizabeth (Hopkins) Ross, age 92, Kansas City, MO. Passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Max J. Ross and son Larry Ross. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Saleh and her husband Sami of Independence, Mo. Two sons, Bill Ross and Wife Cindy of Lee's Summit, Mo. Robert Ross and Wife Joyce of Blue Springs, Mo. Six grandchildren, Shawn, Nick, Amber, Bradley, Katie and Christoper, two great-granddaughters, Charli and Marley, and a brother, James Hopkins of Eldorado Springs, Mo. Hazel was born in Lowry City, Mo in May 1921 to Annis and Amborse Hopkins. Hazel retired from Western Electric in 1980. She was a sweet, loving and giving mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all. Hazel was a member of the Pittman Road Church of God. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday March, 16, 2014 at the Floral Hills Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 12 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association 6900 College Blvd #250, Leawood, KS 66211.
