Bruce Douglas Pierce, the son of Larry and Laura Pierce went to be with his Lord and Savior March 12, 2014 after a short illness. He was surrounded by his loving family and fiancee.

He was born January 27, 1962 in Lindenwold, NJ.

He graduated from Medina High School and received an Associate Degree from Tera Tech. College in Fremont. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his parents; fiancee, Jackie Pickard; her son, Zachary; her daughter, Valerie; Sister, Karen (John) Ford; brother, Scott(Laurie); two nieces, Amanda David, Serena Smith and nephew Shad Smith all of Delaware.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 3pm at the New Hope Baptist Church where funeral services will follow at 3pm with Pastor Eric Sapp officiating.

Burial will be Monday in Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The New Hope Baptist Church, 23 N. Union St.
