KATIE CALUCCI, age 95, died peacefully at home, on Friday, February 8, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Katie Polizzi on December 11, 1912, in Detroit, Michigan, to Vito and Grace (Dana) Polizzi. She was a long-time resident of Troy.
Mrs. Calucci was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She also was a caring homemaker.

Surviving Daughter: Grace Kent
Surviving Sons: Daniel (Jo Carol) and William (Lisa)
Grandchildren: Debra and Cheryl Kent; and Tony, Kelley, and Patty Calucci
Surviving Sister: Anne Trapani (Nick)
She was preceded in death by sisters, the late Angie Harmon (Jim), Madeline Didia (Augustine), Rega Brancaleone (Salvatore), and brothers, the late Joe Polizzi (Margaret) and Tony Polizzi (Dorothy)
Visitation: Sunday, February 10, 2008, from 2-5, and 7-9 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI 48084 (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads).
