Obituary for Carl Baringer Yager
Carl Baringer Yager, 92, died at his home August 15,2002. He is survived by his
wife, Mildred Weinedel Yager, and two sons, Robert Hughes Yager and his wife
Nora who live in Mesa, Arizona, and John Richard Yager and his wife Janice who
live in Minden, Louisiana. He had four grandchildren, Erin and her husband Jeffrey
Deconcini of Tucson, Arizona and Casey Yager of Tucson, Arizona. Kyle Yager
and Kiira Yager of Mesa, Arizona. He was a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a
long time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He retired after 29 years at Exxon
Refmery. Funeral services will be Monday, August 19,2002, at 10:30 a.m. at
Broadmoor United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Burgess and Dr. Donald Hall
officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be
at Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky at 1 p.m. on Tuesday August 20,2002.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Broadmoore United Methodist Church,
10230 Mollyles Drive (70185), Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane
(70810); or Cancer Services of Baton Rouge, 555 Lobdell (70806).
