The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Harley Funeral Home remembers Bertha Hastings in Greenwood, SC. Bertha Duncan Hastings, 91, formerly of 1015 Old Edgefield Road, Ninety Six, widow of Bobby Hastings, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Annie Cox Duncan. Bertha retired form Nantex and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Bobby Hastings (Jenny Sue) and Billy Hastings, both of Ninety Six; one sister, Mary Boyd of Loris; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Lee Bell.
