He was born February 16th, 1942 in Wilmar, AR a son of the late William Carter and Vernie Osgood Carter.
He was a pipeline worker and for many years he worked road construction for Courson Construction and Thompson Construction.
He was a member of The Life Church in Monticello, a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam.
He was also preceded in death by a brother Rick Carter and a sister Geneva Engen
Surviving is his wife Susan Loomis Carter, whom he married March 10th, 1979 in Warren, AR, a son Steven Woolford, Conroe, TX. 2 daughters Tracy Daniel and Pam Carter both of WIlmar, AR. 1 sister Ann Harton, Warren, AR. 5 grandchildren Kristen Daniel, Christopher Woolford, Jordan Woolford, Gavin Daniel and Lorraina Carter.
Funeral services are 2:00PM Sunday, March 16th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Larry Doggett officiating.
Burial in Greenhill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
Visitation 6pm till 8pm Saturday, March 15th at Frazer's.
