Funeral services will be held Friday 2:00 PM, March 14, 2014 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Joey Moore officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Elmore was born April 26, 1929 in Wilkes County to Daniel Arnold and Winnie Ina Church Keys. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pansy Miller and a brother, Hubert Keys.
She is survived by: her husband, Lytle Gwyn Elmore of the home; one daughter, Deborah Vandervort and husband, John of Wilkesboro; one son, Larry Elmore and wife, Debbie of Taylorsville; two grandchildren, Jason Darrell Kilby, Daniel Joseph Elmore; one sister, Ruth Prevette of Winston-Salem and one brother, Ralph Keys and wife, Ruby of Wilkesboro.
