Mr. Jack Hamilton, age 85 of Nashville, GA, passed away Saturday night, December 21, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton following an extended illness. Mr. Hamilton was born February 6, 1934 to the late Quillie Hamilton and the late Polly Leavens Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton, a native of Douglas and Coffee County, was employed in home construction. He attended Riverside Baptist Church in Nashville, GA
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Tanner Hamilton of Nashville, GA, three children, Ron Hamilton, Don Hamilton and Jacqueline Vickers all of Douglas, GA, three step-children, Roy Deen of Milledgeville, GA, Charlie Deen of Austin, TX, Angie Dratch of Atlanta, GA, seven grandchildren, Jamie Vickers of Orlando, FL, Jill Vickers of Jacksonville, FL, Todd Hamilton, Clint Hamilton, Abby Hamilton, Brice Hamilton and Emma Hamilton all of Douglas, GA, two great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren.
The memorial service was held Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, GA. with Rev. Kevin Stone and Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
