KERRVILLE - Donald Wayne Call, 72, of Kerrville, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at Peterson Regional Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Levelland, Texas, to James Balous Call and Mylbra Marie Sanderson Call on April 13, 1939. He married Betty Ruth Huston on June 12, 1959, in Enid, Okla.
Don was a member of Western Hills Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Call and Mylbra Call.
Don is survived by his wife, Betty Ruth; son, James Dale and wife, Keli Call, of Texas; brother, Kenneth Eugene of Calif.; and granddaughters, Corley Brooke of Texas, and Kaci Lane.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Garden of Memories Cemetery on Texas 16 North, with Frank Pullin, pastor of Western Hills Baptist Church, officiating.
The family of Don Call wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Joseph Vinas and Dr. James Young, the great staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center and Peterson Hospice, members of Western Hills Baptist Church and our wonderful friends and neighbors.
