Daughter of Jacob and Susan Morris Peelman, she married Alex Lee, was widowed, lived in Utica, died there of chronic myocardial failure and degeneration, and senility, per death certificate 108341, whose informant was Edna Lee of Utica. Buried Dec 24 1946.

Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Dec 23 1946:
Mrs. Florence Lee, 85, died at 11:25 pm Saturday at her home in Utica after a long illness. She was the daughter of Jacob and Susan Norris Peelman, born Feb. 6, 1861 in Meadville.

She spent her early life there and moved to a farm two miles west of Utica shortly after her marriage, and lived there until the death of her husband, then moved to Utica where she lived since.

On Dec. 26, 1879, she married Alexander Lee, who died Sept. 30, 1914.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dora Hoffman of Stoneboro, and Miss Edna Lee of Utica; a step-son, Harry E. Lee of New Matamoras, OH; a sister, Mrs. Mame Carroll of Trenton, NJ; five grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Utica United Presbyterian Church at 2 pm Tuesday with Rev. E. J. Jenning, Methodist minister at Polk, officiating. Interment will be in Millcreek Cemetery.
