She was born and raised in Vallejo, CA, graduated from Hogan Sr. High and met and married the love of her life, Melvin Ramsey II in 1985. They had a daughter, Melissa Jane, in 1988 and a son, David Russel in 1990.
She worked for many years at Kaiser Permanente Hospital while going on to College to become a Registered Nurse. She worked for Sutter Solano Hospital as an ICU nurse and a union steward for over 10 years until early 2013.
She then moved to Queen Creek, AZ, with her husband and son to be closer to her husband's siblings. She had not yet returned to work but had decided to take additional training to become a hospice nurse rather than going back to ICU nursing.
She enjoyed making her home beautiful, entertaining, and really loved being a registered nurse. Nursing was her calling. She was full of empathy and compassion and loved helping those leaving this world to go with comfort, dignity and grace.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin and Ellen Loney, and her father-in-law Melvin Ramsey I. She is survived by her parents, Gerald and Jane St. Pierre of Vallejo, CA, her brother Jim (Melanie) Brooks of Simi Valley, CA, her husband of 29 yrs., Melvin and son, David of Queen Creek, AZ, her daughter, Melissa of Sacramento, CA, her mother-in-law Charlene Ramsey of Vallejo, CA, and several nieces and nephews.
