Jean (Wentzel) Dunkin Harper


She was the daughter of daughter of the late Chester and Ann Milligan Wentzel and married Joseph Hoefling Dunkin - 03 Feb 1940. After his death, she married Elam Franklin Harper - 12 Feb 1972. Her obituary follows:


Funeral services for Jean Dunkin Harper, age 94, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Friday at 10 AM at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky beside her first husband Joseph H. Dunkin, Sr. Mrs. Harper passed away Tuesday night in Donalson Care Center.


She was a native of Louisville, KY and the daughter of the late Chester and Ann Milligan Wentzel. She was a retired RN and a member of the Catholic Faith.


Survivors include three sons, Joe Dunkin of Fayetteville, Jim Dunkin of St. George Island, FL, Jeff Dunkin of Lexington, KY, and grandchildren Jennifer Dunkin of Atlanta, GA, Heather and Brian Davis both of Deer Lake, MI. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jadean Davis, first husband Joseph Dunkin Sr and second husband Elam Harper.
