Patricia graduated from Marinette High School in 1949. On May 20, 1950, Patricia married John W. Garneski in Marinette; he preceded her in death on April 3, 2012. She had worked for Christensen Machinery for 20 years retiring in 1981. Patricia loved to travel; she and her husband had been all over the U.S. including Hawaii three times. She also traveled the Scandinavian countries. She enjoyed shopping, bowling, and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by two daughters: Debra (Joseph) Jasenovsky of Menominee, MI and Cynthia Rose of Porterfield, WI; a sister, Ruth Lieburn of Marinette; four grandchildren: Molly (Jim) DuPont of Menasha, WI, Bonnie (Rob) Kirchner of Russellville, Ark., Justin Rose of Porterfield, WI and John (Lauren) Rose of Peshtigo, WI; and five great-grandchildren:Jackson, Rylee and Kennedy DuPont, Sophie Garcia and Dakota Rose. In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Rose and her sister, Avyce Guimond.
As per her wishes, private family services will be held by the Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
