Floyd Earl Stout, 61, died at 8:45 AM Saturday, Aug. 10, 1985, in his Lafayette home, following several years of failing health. Born Jan. 23, 1924, at Mitchell, IN, he spent most of his life in the Lafayette area.
Mr. Stout was retired from Essex Wire in 1978, after working there ten years. He previously worked at Brown Rubber Co. as an electrician. He was a 30-year member of Eagles Lodge 347.
Surviving are a son, Charles Stout of Speedway; a daughter, Windy Stout of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Mable Gee of Tyler, TX; a brother, Charles G. Stout of Fort Myers, FL; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
