Matthew Jamie Burnett, 29, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Gayla Elizabeth Lee Burnett and the late Thomas Dale Burnett. He was employed with BMW, was a Marine veteran, earned his Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee, and was of the Baptist faith.
Along with his mother, he is survived by brothers: Travis Burnett, Michael Burnett; sisters: Melissa Dang(James), Tammy Burnett; finacee: Sophie; and ex-wife Jennifer Laico Davidson.
Along with his father he was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Burnett.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4 until 6 pm at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Coleman Memorial Park.
