Born in Providence Township. She was a daughter of Jacob and Barbara Heidelbaugh.

Eshleman.-Ida M. Eshleman was born Feb. 22, 1869, in Lancaster Co., Pa.; died at her home Dec. 23, 1923; aged 54 y. 10 m. 1 d. She was a member of the Mennonite Church. She was ailing for the past two years, but endured her suffering patiently. We can well say, "Let me die the death of the righteous and let my last end be like hers." She was married to Eli M. Eshleman and to this union were born 4 sons and 7 daughters-of whom one daughter (Barbara) and a son (Chester) preceded her in death. She leaves a sorrowing aged father and mother, her husband, 9 children, and a host of relatives and friends. She is one of the many mothers that will be missed in the home. Funeral services were held on Dec. 21 at Byerland Church conducted by Bro. Aaron Harnish and Bro. Jacob Thomas.
