Mr. Darrell Lawrence, age 63, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his home.
He was born March 20, 1950 in Kirby, Arkansas to the late Wallace Lawrence and the late Dena Deramus Lawrence. He was happily married for many years to Carolyn Kesterson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War, and was a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans and the National Rifle Association. Mr.Lawrence was a people person and worked as a store manager in the Retail industry. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Dena Lawrence and a sister, Gloria Jones.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Church of the Nazarene with Brother Reginald Fryar officiating. Interment follows in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, March 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lawrence, Jason Lawrence, Billy Jones, Kyle Lambeth, JeremyLawrence and Jay Maynard.
