Rex Richard Kinnaman, age 73, of Apollo Beach, Florida, formerly of Linton, passed away Mon. evening, Dec. 5, 2005, at his residence in Apollo Beach. He was born May 7, 1932, in Linton, the son of William Berl & Celia (Wools) Kinnaman. He had worked as a clerk for Peabody Coal Company & moved to Florida from Linton in 1996. He was a member of the Apollo Beach Community Church, & American Legion Post #22, F & A M Lodge #560, BPO Elks Lodge #866, & Moose Lodge, all of Linton. He was a 1950 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School & was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Shirley J. (Armstrong) Kinnaman, of Apollo Beach, FL, two sons, Mark W. Kinnaman & Matthew W. Kinnaman, both of Friendswood, Texas, a sister, Luanne Bellamy, of Linton, & five grandchildren, Tony, Kamee, & Kristina Kinnaman, & Cindy Brannum & Cassie Brannum. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Sat., Dec. 10, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel, Rev. David Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Linton American Legion.
