She was born Dec. 14, 1956, in Parkersburg, daughter of Willard "Bill" and Margaret Shenefield Boyd of Fairplain. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and an inspiration to everyone she encountered.
Although her time was short, her gifts were many. She was always full of laughter and fun and her life served as a positive light to all she met.
In addition to her parents, Debbie also leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Steven B. Stone, and a son, Zachary B. Stone, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by a brother, Craig Boyd (Angie) of Charleston, and a sister, Natalie Wayne (Mark) of Evans.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Bryce Stone, who died at birth in 1985.
A celebration of the life of Debbie Stone is set for Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Greg Stone officiating. Interment will follow the service at Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
