Services for Barbara "Izora" Barabas, 83, of Holland were held at 10 AM Wednesday at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger with Rev. Stephen Nersta officiating. Burial followed in Trinity Cemetery in Granger. She died February 27 in Temple. She was born March 10, 1930 to Dayton Kyle and Pauline McDaniel Cothren in Lufkin. She married Adolph Edward Barabas on Feb 22, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Eddie; and two grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Wiede of Georgetown, Janet Tomasek of Terrell, and Augusta Rice of Temple; three sons, Ricky Barabas, Kenny Barabas, both of Holland, and Billy Barabas of Little River-Academy; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
