Sudden Death
Mrs. Aranda Woodford died suddenly at her residence near Dudley, last Saturday evening [February 19, 1881]. Her husband had returned from the store, and the old couple were sitting in front of the fire discussing his purchases, when, without any warning whatever, the old lady, fell forward, and was caught by her aged partner, who called for assistance, but life was extinct, and all efforts of resuscitation were futile. She was about 70 years.
