Madelyn D. Smith, 78, of Sod, went to her heavenly home on March 9, 2014, to be reunited with her beloved son, Rocky. She was a beloved mother of many.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
Madelyn is survived by her sons, Franklin, Robert (Lisa), Dale and Shannon (Angie); daughters, Cherita (Ronnie), Deannie (Charlie), Diane, Delilah (Dan), LoisAnn (Kenny), Robin (Pat) and Cammi (Steve); 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
