He was of the Baptist Faith. He was self- employed as a welder. Tony served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Oma Trent and sister Mary Ann Spears.
Tony is survived by his wife, Linda Lambert of the home; one daughter, Valeria Wilson and husband, Jay of Ewing, VA; three sons, Tony Nicholas Lambert, Jr. and wife, Lodi, of Harrodsburg, Ky. James Michael Lambert of Ewing, VA., and Samuel Luck Lambert and wife, Trina of Big Stone Gap; one sister, Laura Burton and husband, Larry of Dryden, VA, five brothers, Danny Lambert and wife Debbie of Big Stone Gap, Lanny Trent and wife Kathy of Dryden, VA, Dave Trent and wife, Kimberly of TN., Rick Trent and wife, Peggy of Duffield, VA and Tim Trent and wife, Patty of Farmville, VA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Josh, Jeffery, Andrew, Chelsey, Brandon, Jonathan, Jessie, Bubby, Carolyn and Wendy, and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday (Jan 20, 2013) from 4 to 6 P.M. at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Ave. Big Stone Gap, VA.
Funeral services will follow in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Tim Jarrett officiating.
