The final rites for Mrs. Omer Ayres, whose tragic death, Tuesday, caused widespread sorrow through-out the entire community, were held at the Everton M. E. church at 10:30 o'clock this morning. The deeply pathetic services were attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends who assembled to pay a final tribute to the memory of the deceased. The floral tributes were abundant and beautiful and the eloquent words of the officiating clergy-man, Rev. B. A. Hartsaw were consoling and comforting to the bereaved family and friends.
The bearers of the pall, all school friends of the deceased, were: Ben Thomas, Ralph May, Frank May, Arthur Kern, Harry Morgan and Carl Stamm. Interment was made in the beautiful Everton cemetery.
