He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army; a member of Morris Frock Post No. 42, American Legion and Antietam Fire Company. He had worked at Southern Shore Company for 40 years, retiring 14 years ago.
His only survivors are nieces and a nephew.
Services were held at the Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
