Howard Lee Flynn, 81, entered into eternal peace on March 7, 2014, in Boerne. He was born to Earnest and Mildred Flynn in Coketon, West Virginia, on June 6, 1933.

Howard joined the United States Air Force on June 21, 1950, and was honorably discharged on January 31, 1971. While enlisted in the military, he was awarded several medals. His interests included traveling, hiking, photography, coin collecting, and showing horses and dogs for competition. He managed Hamby's Restaurant in Boerne for over ten years before retiring there.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Flynn; his son, Terrance L. Flynn; his daughter, Becky J. Heinen; and his three sisters Milda Johnson, Martha Johnson, and Margaret Cianfaglione.

Howard is survived by his son, Michael A. Flynn; his eight grandchildren Tabitha Flynn Koval, Michael Flynn, Christy Tessier, Tim Flynn, Bonnie Tyler, Adam Wilson, Kathleen Heinen, and James Heinen; and his fifteen great grandchildren Savannah, Michael, Samantha, Maria, Christopher, Chandler, Cavan, Colton, Carter, Corbyn, Erin, Marley, Mia, Zachary, and Landon.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 10, 2014, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 10:45 a.m. at Ft.
