Bobby Jack Norton, age 75, Ewing, VA, formerly of Middlesboro, KY passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. He was born December 24, 1938 in Fonde, KY. He was the son of the late Andy and Virgie Norton. He was the former owner and operator of Three States Printing Company for 46 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Helen (Pat) Burns and brother, Andy Matthew Norton. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mildred Sparks Norton of Ewing, VA; daughter Katherine Norton Anderson, her husband, John Anderson and children Jonathon and Austin; daughter Pamela Norton Johnson, her husband William Johnson and children Brad and Chandler; daughter Terri Norton Valencia, her husband Christian Valencia and their children Noah, Maya, and Analyce; siblings: Peggy (Donald) King, Betty (Larry) Blackmon and Bill (Ruby) Norton, all of Middlesboro, KY; Kate (Herbert) Durham of Harrogate, TN; James (Linda) Norton of Warren, MI; Phyllis Martin, Francis Gibson, and Barbara Samaniego, all of St. Mary's, OH; sisters-in-law: Peggy Capps, Ruby (Bill) Norton, Blanche (Fred) Phelps, and Polly Sparks, all of Middlesboro, KY, and Drucilla Norton of Cumberland Gap, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel in Middlesboro, KY with Gary Burchett and Rev. Zach Bay officiating. Funeral service to follow. Music will be provided by Barbara Asher, Bonnie Daniels, and Mark Watson. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: William Bradley Johnson, Leigh chandler Johnson, Jonathon Logan Anderson, Robert Austin Anderson, Noah Jack Valencia, Maya Grace Valencia, and Analyce Marie Valencia. Private entombment will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
