Betty Deanne Weissinger Lawson, 73, died Friday February 28, 2014. Born January 11, 1941 in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late David R. Weissinger & Marian Guthrie Weissinger Lewis, and the stepdaughter of the late William B. Lewis III. She was the 1959 Danville High School homecoming queen and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines and married to Robert Lawson for 30 years. Betty Deanne is predeceased by her brother Richard G. "Dickie" Weissinger.Betty is survived by her daughters; Lisa Lee Tupman (Edward) of Hebron and Lori Lynn Lawson (Scott Elliott) of Lexington, brother; David Lee Weissinger (Ann) of Nashville TN, and five grandchildren; Kendall Elliott, McKenna Elliott, Steele Elliott, Summer Tupman, and Shelby Tupman.Pallbearers will be Scott Elliott, Bob Lawson, Steele Elliott, Eddie Tupman, David Weissinger, Jerry Rankin, Herbie McGuire and Darrin Weissinger. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Sellers and Gary Gibson.
