STAFF SGT. WILLIAM DOUGLAS RICHARDSON
He was on his second deployment to Iraq as a military policeman when God called him home. Doug was born at 9:30 P.M. on August 9, 1975 in Pasadena, Tx. He was raised in Spring Branch and graduated from Springwoods High School. Doug joined the Marines before he even got out of high school. He loved being a Marine, and was very proud to serve. He met his wife, First Lieutenant Catherine Sullivan Richardson, also a proud Marine and the love of his life while serving together. Catherine is very proud of her husband. Although they were married for only 2 years, Doug's mother said it would have lasted forever; and mothers know these things. Doug was a good boy, good man and a loving person. He could be mischievous at times. At other times, Doug thought he was the other kids father and would set them straight. He was a loving husband, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend all of the time. We will miss him everyday for the rest of our lives.
