Dale was an independent floor installer who loved to water ski.
Dale also is survived by his mother, Mary Cain, of Dubuque; two sisters, Cathy Cain Cooper and Lori Cain, both of Dubuque; and five brothers, Kenny (Karen Johnson) Cain, Paul (Melinda Titus) Cain, Mick (Donna) Cain, John (Deb Howell) Cain and Doug (Maggie Wagner) Cain, all of Dubuque.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, John; and a nephew, Joshua Cooper.
