Homer Hoyt, 67, died unexpectedly Friday morning at St. Catherine's hospital in McCook. He was born in Culbertson and lived most of his life on a farm in this community. Upon retiring from the farm, Mr. Hoyt and his wife moved to McCook.

He was a member of McCook lodge No. 135 A.F. & A.M., Occonoxee Council No. 16, King Cyrus Chapter No. 35, Knights Templar Commandery No. 16 and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his widow, Nettie; three sons, Marvin and Edwin, both of McCook; and Thurber of Atwater, California; one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Oliver of Bridgeport, Nebraska; three brothers, Edward of Washington, D.C.; and Dean and Frank, both of McCook; one sister, Mrs. George Wallen of McCook; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at Memorial Methodist church in McCook and burial was made there in Memorial Park cemetery.
