He was the son of Dorothy Townsend Grace of Chambersburg and the late James C. Grace.
Mr. Grace was a graduate of Chambersburg High School. He was employed at the Roxbury Correctional facility in Hagerstown as a correctional officer for the last 12 years. Daniel was a member of the Carlisle Elks; the Ira E. Lady American Legion Post, Biglerville; the George Washington Masonic Lodge 0143 of Chambersburg; and the Chambersburg Amvets and VFW.
Surviving in addition to his mother are one sister, Maxine Hunsinger of Monroe, NY; and one brother, Kenneth Grace of Kodak, TN.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Steven Grace.
