Catherine Rigsby Curry, 88, of Stanford died Tuesday at Ft. Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was born September 3, 1922 in Lincoln County to the late John T. and Wadie Mae Thompson Rigsby. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and the University of Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of Stanford Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Dr. Bradford Curry, to whom she was married to on June 22, 1944, of Stanford; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, LaVerne Rigsby Walker (Walter Owsley Walker) and Louise Rigsby Hester (William Burch Hester).
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010, from 5 - 8 at Spurlin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 P. M. Thursday, October 21, 2010, visitation at the church beginning at 1 P. M. Reverend Max Hester will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
