Maggie Brockway
Former Mediapolis resident, Maggie Brockway, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the home of a daughter in Sibley.
Born Feb. 16, 1895, at Cayugua, Ill., she was the daugher of Lewis and Lennie Stephenson Winegard. She married Harley J. Brockway on Dec. 26, 1912, at Wapello; he died May 4, 1981.
She was the a homemaker and a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, G.M."Zid" Brockway, Floresville, Texas, and A.F."Bud" Brockway, Whittier, Calif.; a daughter, Melba C. Hall, Sibley; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Fry Funeral Chapel, Mediapolis.
Services for Mrs. Brockway will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fry Funersl Chapel with Rev. Harold Werley officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery.
