LeCLAIRE, Iowa — Services for Beverly Cornett, 59, LeClaire, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson Heesch Funeral Home, LeClaire. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cornett died Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
She was employed as a supervisor at Collis Co., Clinton. She also was a union representative.
She was born July 20, 1941, in Exline, Iowa, to Oscar and Edith (Cline) Wages. She married Bobbie Cornett on Aug. 10, 1958, in Exline.
She enjoyed traveling and collecting dolls and antiques. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles.
A memorial fund has been established.
Surviving are her husband, Bobbie; sons, Mike, Gary and Robert Cornett, all of LeClaire, and Rod Cornett, Hampton, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Greiner, Davenport, Janice Temple, Exline, Iowa, and Alfreda Dover, Unionville, Mo.; and a brother, Luther Wages, Fruitland, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a grandson, Michael Lee Cornett Jr., on July 15, 1995.
