Life Crushed Out of Two Year Old Boy
Robert, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Knoll of Victor, was killed yesterday noon in a horrible manner. The baby was playing about a barn when a large door which had been nailed to the side fell upon him. The lifeless body was found by his mother, who started a search when he failed to answer her call. When help had been summoned to life the heavy timbers from the body it was found that the body had been terribly crushed against an old wheel that was the little fellow's plaything.
The dead baby was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Knoll, and had twelve brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held Saturday from the Mennonite church on Hilborn street. Interment will be in Lodi cemetery. The remains are at the parlors of O.H. Wells.
