FISHER, Jackie Gene Age 70, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014, at his home. Jackie was born April 5, 1943 in Stafford, Kansas to the late Floyd Cecil & Irene Barbara (Uhring) Fisher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death his wife, Ruth Elaine (Dirksen) Fisher in 2010; a sister, Barbara Ganey and brother, George Fisher. He was retired as a paint & body man and was formerly employed by Turner Motors in Springfield. Jackie is survived by two sons, Jack Eugene (Christina) Fisher & Kevin Wayne Fisher; two grandchildren, Cortney Taylor & Cameron Tyler; and by three sisters, Nancy Hutto, Sarah Williams & Kaye Austin. The family will be receiving friends from 5 - 7 p.m., Tuesday (3/11) at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, Northridge chapel, 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral service 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Livingston officiating. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
