HALL, Opal L. –age 95 of Goodlettsville, TN went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2014.
She was a woman of faith and a longtime member of Goodlettsville First Baptist church. Opal enjoyed cooking and will be remembered by many for bringing her dishes to church events. During her early years she was a Certified Nurse's Assistant working for Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, IA for 18 years. Later in life she assisted the manager while living at the Autumn Chase Apartments in Goodlettsville for 20 years. She will forever be remembered for her generosity toward others and her nurturing spirit that made her such a wonderful caretaker to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lowell Hall. She is survived by her children, DeWayne Hall (Mary Lou) of Iowa, Mary Lee Cole (Frank) of Texas, Charlotte Hougland (James) of Iowa and Doug Hall (Ramona) of Hendersonville, TN; 7 grandsons; 2 granddaughters and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10am-1pm at
