Terry Lee Whiting CORNELIUS - Terry Lee Whiting, 61, previous of Cornelius, passed away in Phoenix, Ariz. on Feb. 23, 2014.
A private memorial celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at Travis Point in Mooresville, on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Terry was born in Beckley, W.Va. on July 17, 1952. He graduated from Union Milton High School in 1970 and served four years in the US Navy. Terry was married to Anna Constantino Whiting on Aug. 23, 1989. Terry worked as a commercial truck driver for 25 years. He enjoyed boating, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Terry is survived by his wife Anna Whiting, two daughters, Toni Dishman and Nikki Wilborn; two lovely grand-daughters, Brittany Franklin and Maria Wilborn; his sister, Susan Cummins,Troy, Ohio and two brothers, James and Curtis Whiting Newport News, Va. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, James Whiting and Zola Whiting.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be given to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 14200 W. Celebrate Life Way, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
